SUMMARY :
Throughout her entire life, Delores Amulet was her father's pride and joy. The apple of his eye, his sun on the darkest days. She meant more to him than anything in the entire world, even his most precious research, for she was the only piece of his beloved that he had left. He never intended to lose her. But when his little is diagnosed with cancer at the age of twelve, Jacoby Amulet's entire world came tumbling down.

Being a world renowned scientist, Jacoby Amulet made it his mission to find a cure for his daughter. Poking and prodding and taking samples of her body to learn the truth beyond the faceless murderer trying to take his little girl away from him. But his years of research ended with no avail. So, Jacoby did the only thing he could do, and enlisted the help of Hydra to find a way to cure what was slowing eating away at his only daughter's soul. Little did he know that his daughter had arrived on Hydra's doorstep at the most opportune time.

With a newly developed weapon in their grasp, Hydra accepted Jacoby's pleas for their help, but it came with a price, one that only Delores could pay. She had been poked and prodded by her father before, but never had Delores felt such pain when the Strigoi serum entered her bloodstream. For hours, the girl screamed until the serum spread to every inch of her body. And when she woke up forty-eight hours later, Delores Amulet was never the same.

The serum had healed her, turning her flesh from porcelain, to ivory, to steel. In a way, the girl was reborn. A new Delores Amulet the world had never seen. A power like she had never felt before weighed heavy in her bones and it gave her strength and speed. With golden eyes and the ability to heal her own body from any attack, there was nothing the girl felt she couldn't do. But there was one thing Hydra hadn't expected when they manufactured thei Strigoi serum, and that was for Delores to thirst for blood. Unable to contain her uncontrollable hunger she decided to flee, only to find herself on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s radar.

ADDITIONAL NOTES :
─ This plot was inspired by the show The Strain because the concept of the Strigoi (vampires) and how they work is fascinating to me.

─ The story begins with Delores at a Hydra base, where they are studying her DNA to make sure she is a suitable candidate for the serum. They eventually give her the serum and she runs away not long after.

─ There are others in the Strigoi trials but Delores has been the only survivor of the serum. Hydra doesn't know why or how but it makes her extremely precious to them. Jacoby eventually figures out that it has to do with cancer and that maybe only cancer patients can receive the serum because of something in the disease that allows the serum to change the person's DNA and keep them alive.

Sight ─ Aside from being able to see far away and much more clear than before, she can also view things with thermal imaging sight and possesses the ability to read heat signatures.
Sound ─ She can hear the pulsating sound of blood in a person's body.
Smell ─ She can smell the carbon dioxide emitted by people's breath, which makes it easy to detect when someone is near.

─ Delores is weakened by the sun, but it's not so much as a burn and melt into a puddle kind of situation. It's more of like a sun allergy that makes her skin tingle and feel like it's on fire without actually displaying any burn marks. For the silver it's the same way. When she comes in contact with it, it'll just feel like her skin is on fire.

─ All the bodies left in her wake attracts S.H.I.E.L.D.'s attention and they are able to track her movements. The Avengers will find Delores with a dead body at her feet (in an alley, most likely) and blood on her face. When she says something along the lines of "Please help me" they will offer to help her and bring her back with them back to the Avengers Tower.

─ Mind you, Hydra has been looking for Delores since she ran away so there is a battle scene to include where the Avengers have to fight some Hydra agents before safely returning to the Avengers Tower with Delores. This battle will be imporant for future events and must happen.

─ When they return to the Avengers Tower, they'll likely ask what Hydra wants with her and what she is (since they know she's not normal from the blood that was around her mouth and the holes in the neck of the body dead at her feet when they found her.) Delores will tell them everything and they will make a promise to protect her and help her find a way to control the bloodlust. Mind you, they'll also be a little frightened of Delores. At least at first. But, I mean, wouldn't anyone? She's basically a vampire.

─ Delores will grow closest to Tony, who tries to help her find a way to live without the sun constantly bringing her pain. He'll eventually come up with a solution to help the pain become more bearable, but it will never be cured because of her metamorphosis she went through during her Hydra days.

─ Tony will also help her manufacture a way to drink blood without having to kill people or keep a supply of blood bags on hand. The beverage she'll have to regularly drink will be a false blood-like substance that tastes almost similar to actual blood, much like True Blood in the show True Blood.

─ After she becomes an Avenger and learns to adjust to her new lifestyle, the story essentially follows Delores as she is brought into the events of Age of Ultron and beyond.

─ It is during Age of Ultron where that battles significance comes in play. Because Hydra lost that battle and the Avengers were able to take Delores, they've been left angry ever since. Angry they lost her. Angry their enemy now has her. So, when they see Delores again on the battlefield in Age of Ultron, they'll try and reclaim her for themselves but will obviously fail.

─ She also reunites with her father, who becomes a prison to the Avengers. In the time that she was gone, her father had helped Hydra create Pietro and Wanda.

─ Delores is a brave albeit scared girl at the beginning of the story. She is fearful of the world and of what she is and what she can do. Delores is scared of the Avengers because she doesn't know them and think they will hurt her, just like Hydra did, but she eventually comes to think of them as family. She is also angry with her father for forcing her to take the serum when she never wanted it, so it'll obviously not be a very happy reunion between father and daughter.

─ Delores doesn't have a love interest. If you would like for her to have one, that is fine, but please run your ideas by me first. Same with the title change. Please run any and all ideas by me before you change them.
